Object remarks: Exocoetus riisei Lütken is not included in Eschmeyer and is maybe a manuscript name. Smitt probably held contact with Lütken at ZMUC. A H Riise (1810-1882) was a Danish apothecary who collected at St Thomas and Trinidad. If this specimen is of a West Indian species its origin is probably Saint Barthélémy /EIÅ, 2005.

Object remarks: Possibly from Museum Adolphi Friderici. Female, TL 116.2 mm. Labels: Dalman (Cobitis Anableps). See also NRM 9558 and NRM 9559./SIL, 1996. About 53 scales. D. 8, A 9, P 23 /SOK?/2013? Most likely from Ulriksdal. Linnaeus, 1758 indicate that the name is based on Artedi and Gronovius. ZMUC 417 the only existing syntype. However Linnaeus has seen this specimen, and maybe also NRM 9558 & 9559 at Leufsta./EIÅ, 2021

Specimen in bad condition in 1983 and dessicated and macerated since. May come from Leufsta, but more likelyfrom Ulriksdal. Type status uncertain.
