Object remarks: According to the KVA annual report for 1832 Ekström donated Gasterosteus trachurus, G. gymnurus, and G. spinachia in "flere exempl." [=several specimen]. The present four specimens are assumed to be G. gymnurus according to Ekström and the G. trachurus are assumed to be lost before 1838 or maybe included in the bunch (9 specimens?) of Baltic Sea ("Mörkö, Stockh") G. aculeatus sent away as "dublicates" in 1851 and 1862 to "Washington ... Östersund ... Ulltuna ... Eksjö ... Mariestad" /EIÅ, 2001.
