Object remarks: Ferraris and Runge, 1999, Proc Calif. Acad. Sci, 51: 421 suggested that the locality "probably Mandalay or Yangon areas" may be in error, as this species otherwise only known from India, Pakistan and Bangladesh.
Locality remarks: Probably collected 1935-1938. Original label: 'fr. sv. konsuln i Rangoon'. Several shipments, collected in different areas, were sent during this period. Specimens does not appear to be included in Rendahl's lists of specimens received from Thomsen. Country assumed based on likely origin.
