Object remarks: Probably mix of three batches: one spm. 150 mm marked '10', slightly dessicated; four spms. quite soft; two spms. not so soft with sand in mouth. All spms. with multicusp 2/2 except one in batch #3 with 3/2. BOF/1992. Label from Quensel (1800): /Gastrobranchus coecus. Bl. f. 413 Myxine glutin. Lin. Svet. Putål/ refers probably to the single specimen tagged 10 and collected in 1800 by Quensel at Kullen according to his catalogue 1800. Additional specimens one or two lots, probably collected after 1806 - on the other hand is NRM 89 from M.Dhlm. not included in Swartz catalogue. /EIÅ, 2014
Locality remarks: Date of collecting and accession antedates 22 Aug 1806. Number on label (when present) is page number in Systema Naturae XIII and locality (when present) is taken from that paper.
