Locality: No data. From the old collection. Oldest known label written by J.W. Dalman during the period 1818-1828.
Field Number: KVA-DALMAN
Leg: Unknown
Date: to 1828

Object remarks: Labels: Dalman 'Raja clavata'. Label envelope: '1 Dalman etikett' written by B. Fernholm (about 1975-1983). Included in Swartz' catalogue 1809 and in Dalman's catalogue 1828./EIÅ, 1997. Origin very uncertain. May have come from Museum Drottningholm, but in that case probably unlabeled. Type status (Raja clavata or R. fullonica) unlikely, also if it has an origin in the Royal collection (cf. Linnaeus 1758: 231, 232)! Most probably identical with Raja clavata in Swartz catalogue = probably accessed 1801-1806 (Mus Ad Frid?, Osbeck?, Fahlberg?, Quensel?) /EIÅ, 2014
Locality remarks: Date of collecting and accession antedates 12 July 1828.
