PARALECTOTYPE Elassoma evergladei orlandicum Lönnberg, 1894
Object remarks: Type status doubted by Snelson et al
Locality remarks: Snelson et al, 2009 (citing Gilbert, 2004) read the locality as Bagdad, interpreting is as Bagdad in Santa Rosa Co. At the field label is stated "Orlando Baghead". There is no reason to believe this place to be far from Orange Co. I can find no such place as Baghead, but possibly it is Bearhead lake which is about 10 km S of central Orlando /EIÅ, 2010
