Object remarks: Name updated from Gadus pollachius. This specimen may come from Marklin 1823 or be the specimen Swartz identified as "? Gadus Pollachius L." in 1809. An origin from the royal collection (Drottningholm) can not be excluded. (But, cf. NRM 41). Quensel did not include any Gadus pollachius in his catalogue 1800.
Locality remarks: Date of collecting and accession antedates 12 July 1828.
