Object remarks: Specimen was originally determined to Pleuronectes platessa. Shape and color of the fish is similar to other specimens of P.platessa. Certain characters of P.platessa like the interorbital ridge of tubercles on the head are absent. Likewise, the bony prickles along base of fins and along lateral line characteristic for P. flesus are absent. Present determination is probably wrong.
