Object remarks: Skin removed - skin used for NRM 42770 (dry mounted). Identification was probably made by LG Andersson (or O Hammarsten) in 1909 when this lot was first registred. Andersson's assumption that this specimen + NRM 5381 originates from the "Ostindien" collection (Field number OSTINDIEN) is reasonable, but a little surprising, since that material was donated in 1908, and Andersson is supposed to know if these fishes were included or not. If this specimen really is part of the previous lot NRM 5381 it could anyway not have been collected by Mjöberg in 1911! /EIÅ, 2001.
Locality remarks: Collector and date assumed /EIÅ, 1998. Possibly at least some specimens were not collected by Mjöberg in Australia; cf. NRM 5381 + (NRM 48086 = NRM 42770). These two specimens must have been collected before 1909 /EIÅ, 2001.
