Object remarks: Erroneously referred to PAR-95-15 up to 2005 - according to notes made in Paraguay when material was split between NRM and MNHNP one Potamotrygon should come from PAR-95-16 (and 3 from PAR-95-15); SOK remembers a small specimen from this station, and large specimens only from PAR-95-11--15 of which two additional is stored in MNHNP/ EIÅ, 2005.
Locality remarks: Gill nets (20-40 mm mesh width) set daytime, both in quiet canal and in midriver (fast). Various habitats sampled including flooded forest, stagnant canal sandy beaches and midriver. Bottom sand. Water turbid, slightly brownish, polluted. Current fast in midriver.
