Object remarks: Labels (SVE 135 and SVE 446) loose on the bottom of jar. No indication to which of the specimens they belong. SVE 135 (31 Jun 1931, no precise locality data) and SVE 446 (22 Aug 1931, from fyke-net at mouth of the Tobo creek). One large 240 mm SL specimen and two heads from specimens estimated to have been 300-400 mm SL.
Locality remarks: Coordinates for MacCarthy Island obtained from NIMA GEONet /EIÅ, 2000. Some specimens were donated by Svensson in 1932, additional material transferred from ZI on several occasions up to 1987.
