Object remarks: Measurements according to Svensson, 1933: 90mm TL, 74mm SL. Prev. # also: SVE/1931809.8523. NRM 31363, 31364, 31365, 31520, and 31583 previously in one jar - data might have been mixed/EIÅ, 1995. A synonym of Petrocephalus bovei according to Bigorne & Paugy, 1990.
Locality remarks: Coordinates for MacCarthy Island obtained from NIMA GEONet /EIÅ, 2000. Some specimens were donated by Svensson in 1932, additional material transferred from ZI on several occasions up to 1987.
