Locality remarks: World is full of St. John's I:s but given the other stations of Svenson, and the type of fish preserved, this one is likely to come from East Asia. Acc. to Stielers Handatlas these islands previously were called St. John's I:s. Year not stated but probably 1899 (cf. SVENSON-1899). Transferred from ZMUU to NRM in 1969.
