Field Number: JGA-1920AUG13
Leg: Eriksson, Joel
Date: 13 Aug 1920
PARALECTOTYPE Nemacheilus djaggasteensis
Object remarks: Assumed to be from type series of Nemacheilus djaggastensis, although no label evidence/ SOK, 1997
Locality remarks: 'Djaggaste' was not found on any maps or gaztteer. When comparing with other material collected by J.G. Andersson and J Eriksson during Aug 1920 all places identified are found within an area about 10 x 10 km covered by two handmade maps: J G Andersson's Inner Mongolia 1:1000000 and Hallong Osso Region 1:100000; both without grid. On the latter map is a place "Gassate" which may or may not be identical to Djaggaste. In Andrees Handatlas (1922) is a place very close to the same area named Dschagostai. Coordinates are estimated for this point./EIÅ, 2005.
