Object remarks: Original label: 'Trichiurus lepturus L.; (Oc. Atlant. Americ:); Coll.vet:'. Identity confirmed by Kullander, 1993. Later added with pencil in Hornstedt's catalog (1788) possibly by Quensel = Accessed between 1788 and 1797. Most probably from Samuel Fahlberg in 1791 (St. Barthelemy) or from Hornstedt's collection donated in 1794 by Prince Carl (transfer from the royal library) (origin East India)./EIÅ, 2002. Unclear if this specimen actually antedates 1798 - cf. NRM 15 and 3570! May be a dried alchohol specimen. /EIÅ, 2016
