Object remarks: Syntype of Sparus aurata Linnaeus; labels: Quensel ('...us au...')[almost completely faded; 'Sparus aurata', however not in Quensel's nor Swartz catlogues], L.G. Andersson (Chrysophrys aurata L. 1808. Gamla saml.). NRM 1808 and 1818 previously in one jar. Not listed by Fernholm & Wheeler (1983).
