SYNTYPE Petrocephalus brevipedunculatus
Object remarks: Fixation: Bouin. Mixed with NRM 14487. Probably from two different stations 1072 (28 Oct - dark spm.) and 1228 (1 Nov - pale spms.). Cf. NRM 14487 and Svensson, 1933. Two specimens consists of posterior half only. A synonym of Petrocephalus bovei according to Bigorne & Paugy, 1990.
