Object remarks: Part of head only. Fixation: 10% N.F. A field label (SVE 629) found in lot NRM 13980 Synodontis gambiensis should belong to a head of Polynemus quadrifilis collected 23 Sept 1931 - maybe this specimen?.
Locality remarks: Coordinates for MacCarthy Island obtained from NIMA GEONet /EIÅ, 2000. Some specimens were donated by Svensson in 1932, additional material transferred from ZI on several occasions up to 1987.
