Object remarks: Size according to Fernholm & Wheeler. Possibly type specimen for Acipenser sturio Linnaeus; Labels: Quensel (Acipenser Sturio), Dalman, late 19th century label. cf. Fernholm & Wheeler (1983:209). See also illustration in Linnaeus (1754). /SIL, 1996. This illustration fits very well to the specimen /EIÅ, 2002. Oldest label from Leufsta. Linnaeus has probably seen this specimen, but hardly before 1758. /EIÅ, 2017
