Object remarks: Type specimen(?) for Scorpaena porcus Linnaeus; labels: Ulriksdal (Pleuronectes Porcus; small ink-label glued over epithet 'Scrofa. 1215 M. medit.'), Dalman label (Scorpus Scrofa Mare medit.), Identified as Scorpaena scrofa by Fernholm & Wheeler (1983: 232-233, 283); small label glued to Ulriksdal label not mentioned. /SIL, 1994. Notes on Ulriksdal label by Quensel's hand - cf. his catalogue! Possible syntype. /EIÅ, 2017
Locality remarks: Specimen(s) with printed Ulriksdal-label from 1765 or before - 'Drottningholm-label', and not associated with known collector, geographic origin, etc.; cf. Fernholm & Wheeler (1983:203-204). Moved from Ulriksdal to Drottningholm in 1773 and to the Academy (KVA, later NRM) 16-20 Jun 1801. Collection examined by Linnaeus 4 times.
