SYNTYPE Zeus faber Linnaeus, 1758
Object remarks: Syntype of Zeus faber Linnaeus; labels: Dalman (Zeus Faber?), late 19th century label (Zeus Faber), L.G. Andersson (4212. Zeus Faber L. Gamla saml.)./SIL, 1996. Labels from Dalman, Smitt, and Andersson. Specimen from De Geer (dried specimen, /vile/ according to Quensel) lost. Only two specimens known in the (KVA) collection prior to 1819. This is most likely the Mus Ad Frid. specimen although the Ulriksdal label is lost./EIÅ, 2017
Locality remarks: Specimen(s) with printed Ulriksdal-label from 1765 or before - 'Drottningholm-label', and not associated with known collector, geographic origin, etc.; cf. Fernholm & Wheeler (1983:203-204). Moved from Ulriksdal to Drottningholm in 1773 and to the Academy (KVA, later NRM) 16-20 Jun 1801. Collection examined by Linnaeus 4 times.
