Object remarks: Labels from Quensel (225. C. agilis...184...41.), Dalman (Coluber agilis Linn. Merr.), Smitt, and Andersson. Quensel states in his catalogue (1802): "28 / agilis 1102. Mus.Ad.Fr. 1:27. t.21.f.2. Unicum exempl. different colore a religius./ Ceylon //3./" In Hornstedt's catalogue (1788) C. agilis (3) C Aesculapii (4) and C lemniscatus (2) are included; in brackets number of sprecimens added by Quensel. All these, most probably, from de Geer or, possibly, from von Höpken. Possible syntype of Coluber agilis or some other Linnaean species. /EIÅ, 2009

Object remarks: Stuffed/dried specimen mounted on wooden block. Old label on block: '...India Orient., Coll. Acad. Antiq. sign. T. amboinensis...'. "T. amboinensis Mus. Ad. Fr. p. 50 tabul cit a. W." written with ink on plastron. Possibly one of the specimens catalogued by C Quensel. Note on plastron possibly also by Quensel. Probably not from Drottningholm (dry turtles were sent to Uppsala). Doesn´t seem to match anything in Hornstedt's Catalogue. Probably arrived during the period 1788-1797. /EIÅ, 2006. Maybe previously stored in alc.? Type status and origin to be evaluated. /EIÅ, 2016

Object remarks: Dried/mummiefied specimen, mounted on wooden block. Probably identical with one of three specimens in Quensel's catalogue 1802: Plurimae teste & una com capitae pedibus. Does not seem to fit any specimen in Hornstedt's catalogue 1788. Likely to have an origin from Delaware/Pennsylvania/New Jersey/Maryland. (Swedish colony New Sweden) and possibly period 1788-1798, but no stated donation fits./EIÅ, 2014.
