Locality: No data. From the old collection. Oldest label written by C. Quensel during the period 1798-1806.
Field Number: KVA-QUENSEL Leg: Unknown Date:

Object remarks: Oldest catalogue number probably 68. Included in Hornstedt's Catalogue, 1788 = name only. A "2" meaning "two specimens" added by Quensel (about 1798-1802) probably referring to the larger specimen in this lot + NRM 904. The smaller specimen in this lot possibly overlooked by both Quensel and Swartz. Maybe all three stored in one jar up to Dalman's time (1818-1828) or NRM 904 added after 1809 since both lots each has a Dalman label. Scale count "135--34, 131 46 = 177" noted on Quensel´s label and repeated on 19th century label may solve this. NRM 904 labels without scale count./ EIÅ, 2006.
