Object remarks: "Breviceps currently comprises 16 species, of which 12 are endemic to South Africa, Lesotho and Swaziland. the diagnosis of the different forms of Breviceps is particularly difficult on account of the variation and slight morphological differentiation”. However, this individual shows palmar tubercle, and on the feet external and internal metatarsal tubercle. Possibly this specimen is B. adspersus. Source: Minter, L. R., Netherlands, E.
