Order: Squamata
Family: Colubridae
Species: Coronella austriaca hasselsnok
Cat No: NRM 55360. N=1
Determiner: Unknown Length: Preparation: Liquid
Continent/Ocean: Europe Country: SWEDEN State/Province: Kalmar län
District: Småland Municipality: Oskarshamns kommun
River Drainage: Lake Basin: Ocean:
Locality: Döderhults socken
Field Number: SILFVERSV-1846 Leg: Silfversvärd, C Date: 1846
Object remarks: "Male?"
Locality remarks: On the label spelled "Silversvärd", although timing works with CG Silfversvärd. To the best of my abilities I cannot find another Silversvärd/Silfversvärd active during the same time, meaning this is most likely referring to CG Silfversvärd, and so his is the name that will be chosen for this post. The locality is also called "Dödshults s-n Kalmar län", which does not seem to have existed, although a "Döderhults socken" in the Kalmar area has, meaning this location is most likely the one referred to and is therefore the one I have used. /AM, 2023
