Object remarks: Previous number also: KVA/1802999.1052. Labels from Quensel (? - slender type): L: marmorata , Dalman: Polychrus marmoratus. , and Smitt: Polychrus marmoratus . Included in Hornstedts catalogue with later marking by Quensel: v v indicating 2 specimens. In Quensel's catalogue (1802): 16. marmorata 1065 Mus. Ad. Fr. p. 43. Cfr. de la Cep. 1: 394. pl. 26. Exempl. Linneanum ipsiss. non adist/America, Hispania//2. . Andersson interpret this as if no Linnaean material ever arrived, but in the list of Drottningholm dublicates, 4 is noted! Syntype status unlikely, but can not be excluded. Possibly collected by Rolander. More research needed. /EIÅ, 2015
Locality remarks: After Charles de Geer's death in 1778 his widow the same year presented his collections to the Academy of Science - but without a list of content. Included are material from Daniel Rolander's journey to Suriname 1755-1756 as well as parts of Johan Albert Schlosser's (? - 1769) collection. / EIÅ, 2014
