Object remarks: Mounted on wooden block. Label:'Monitor niloticus.(Varanus dracaena)'. /LT, 1997. Possibly a Linnaean type specimen /EIÅ, 2007. Seems to be identical with a specimen received from Hedenborg in 1837. However a Chelonia, a Crocodile and a Boa seems to be mounted very similar, and they all looks older. Not found in Hedemborg's notebooks for 1834-1836 /EIÅ, 2012
