Object remarks: Labels by Dalman, Smitt, Andersson, and Johansson. The species is included in the catalogues of Hornstedt, Quensel (2 specimens), possibly Swartz (as Anguis Eryx!, 3 specimens), and Dalman (3 specimens). One (additional?) specimen was received in 1811. These two specimens most probably antedates 1802 and probably also 1788. Possibly from the collection of C de Geer. cf. also NRM 6905 and 6907 /EIÅ, 2012 Previous number also 550495-96
Locality remarks: Date of collecting and accession antedates 12 July 1828.
