Object remarks: SYNTYPE? Cf. L.G. Andersson, 1900, p. 11-12 for more information. Previous labels: Drottningholm: 'Lacerta Ameiva'; Dalman: 'Tejus Ameiva Merr. Lac. Ameiva Linn.'; Unknown: 'Tejus'; etc. Specimens in Quensel's catalogue 1803: 5, Swartz 1807: 5 (later 4?). This spm is a Tupinambis teguixin according to Colli & P‚res, 1999.
Locality remarks: Dates (material descr. by Linnaeus) predates 1754. Originally at Ulriksdals Castle. Transferred from Drottningholm Castle to KVA [=later NRM] in 1801.
