Object remarks: Original lot of 18 specimens. Two specimens listed by Boulenger (Cat Fish Africa) as being in BMNH. Note in bottle: '3 specimens removed because they are Barbus P.H. Greenwood 1961'. One of these located as NRM 10954, B. usambarae. Thus 2 specimens missing 1991. SOK/1991.

Object remarks: Extremely poor condition. Has been desiccated and is now next to completely cleared. Noted as 'valueless' by Greenwood 1962 (Bull BMNH 8(4), p. 192. SOK/1991.
