Object remarks: This is the only known specimen/C.W. Myers, 1969.
Locality remarks: Locality given by Santiago Ayerbe, 1992. Collectors according to him: Colonel Carlos Ayerbe Arboleda & Kjell von Sneidern. Field label lost, except a paper: Colombia, G. Gerring. Original description states. However specimens presented by Gerring was said to come from Choco (But, von Sneidern obviously also collected in company with Gerring…footnote in field list). Since this is a rare snake, probably Ayerbe is correct! /EIÅ, 2014
