Object remarks: SYNTYPE ? Labels from Drottningholm and Dalman. Listed by L.G. Andersson (1899) p. 15-16. Jar contents a lepidopteran larvae also. Type status of the UUZM C. aesculapii specimen uncertain. /EIÅ. TL 68 cm, SVL 62,5 cm. Length in LG Andersson 1899 385 mm, obviously wrong. /BK 20082429
Locality remarks: Dates (material descr. by Linnaeus) predates 1754. Originally at Ulriksdals Castle. Transferred from Drottningholm Castle to KVA [=later NRM] in 1801.
