SYNTYPE Anguis quadrupes Linnaeus, C
Object remarks: Maybe type status? Needs more evaluation (including UUZM 140 Lacerta brevipes). Seems to be the Leufsta specimen, catalogued by Hornstedt in 1788, but redetermined and relabeled by Quensel (!): Lacerta 33. Serpens 1078 Secundum observ:m Gmelini haec est Anguis quadrupes Linnei sorsan (?) etiam haec & seps speciemen differunt. Labels from Quensel, Smitt, and Andresson only! /EIÅ, 2017
