PARALECTOTYPE Testudo galeata Schoepff, 1792
Object remarks: Marked in de Geer's copies of Systema Naturae, both X and XII ed. = antedates 1766. Data from these specimens communicated by P Swartz to Schoepff and published by Schoepff in 1792. Lectotype will be designated by Fritz /EIÅ, 2013.
Locality remarks: After Charles de Geer's death in 1778 his widow the same year presented his collections to the Academy of Science - but without a list of content. Included are material from Daniel Rolander's journey to Suriname 1755-1756 as well as parts of Johan Albert Schlosser's (? - 1769) collection. / EIÅ, 2014
