Object remarks: Swartz' catalogue (1809-1812) includes only three dry snakes, which all can be excluded. Fries or Sundewall lists it 1840. So, it is probably accessed during the period 1812-1839. It is a Colubridae or Elapidae, ventral scales 162, might have been greenish in life. Possible collectors includes Hedenborg (NE Africa).
