Object remarks: No labels or markings. This object may match # 5 in the old card catalogue: "Brasilien. Coll. Ante 1839. Pullus (Till skelettet. ur sprit 1852)". Intermediate between skin and mount. Filled with mosses in tail and anterior part, but not in central body which is empty. Teeth present, maybe also skull. Swartz (1809) lists four dry specimens under Lacerta crocodylus with "MDhlm." in the margin why paralectotype status (lectotype in Uppsala) can't be entirely excluded. /EIÅ, 2008
Locality remarks: Field station for specimens marked 'Ante 1839', 'Coll.Acad.', or 'Gamla samlingen'. Gamla samlingen usually apply to material antedating 1828 (cf. Andersson's Catalogue: Anguis fragilis: 9) /EIÅ, 2016
