Object remarks: Det Andersson, LG? 1 spm. + 1 egg Prev. # also AAA/1959999.3095 + AAA/1959999.4095. According to LGA label: No label, in a lot containing some West African lizards, one Crocodilus niloticus, etc. Later NRM 5095 + 5096 was included in NRM exhibition. Metal tag removed from specimen in 1996/EIÅ. Pelomedusa subrufa eggs are oval and measure 28-31 mm x 15-18 mm (http://www.pelomedusa.com/Breeding.html). This egg is from another species. Evaluate origin when the additional west african material is found! 19th century. /EIÅ, 2013
