Locality remarks: According to Gyldenstolpe Koh Lak is a 'nice place on the coast of the Gulf of Siam only a few miles from the Tenasserim boundary'. Close to or identical with present Prachuap Khiri Khan. Ko Lak is a subdistrict W and S of Prachuap Khiri Khan proper, both within Amphoe Mueang Prachuap Khiri Khan.
