Object remarks: Oldest label by Dalman: "Coluber (C. molochinus Dalm.)". Obviously a manuscript name of Dalman. Specimen/name dosen't easily fit any record in Dalman's Catalogue. Should be compared with Quensel's list of unidentified Coluber from Museum Drottningholm - maybe also with Linnaeus description of Coluber calamarius. Type status can't be excluded. According to Andersson previously in same jar as a specimen of Homalosoma lutrix L.(=Duberria lutrix) /EIÅ, 2008.
Locality remarks: Date of collecting and accession antedates 12 July 1828.
