SYNTYPE Crotalus horridus Linnaeus, 1758
Object remarks: A tail only. Possible syntype although it does not fit to the description in Linnaeus 1754. Labels from Drottningholm (Crotalus horridus), Dalman (Crotali horridi Cauda cum cressitaculo.), and Andersson (Crotalus sp. fr. Mus. Ad. Frid. regis). Cf. Andersson, 1899: 27./ EIÅ, 2013
Locality remarks: Dates (material descr. by Linnaeus) predates 1754. Originally at Ulriksdals Castle. Transferred from Drottningholm Castle to KVA [=later NRM] in 1801.
